About Us
The Shepshed Against Incinerator Group (SAIG) was set up to oppose Biffa’s plans to site a huge Incinerator at NewHurst Quarry.
The group has been very successful in raising awareness about the Incinerator locally and is now set on widening that awareness across the whole of Charnwood.
To do this, the group has launched this website with the specific intention of widening the awareness of the Incinerator proposals to residents across Charnwood.
Wherever you live, please ACT NOW to oppose the latest Incinerator planning application.
